The order of admission of foreign students at Moscow State University

Foreign citizens are admitted to Moscow State University named after MV Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU), the results of entrance tests: 1) the first course on general grounds, 2) on a contractual basis, 3) in accordance with international treaties.

In graduate, postgraduate and doctoral reception is on a contractual basis and in accordance with international treaties.

Admission of foreign citizens in a course at Moscow State University on a general basis (by competition) is governed by the Rules of admission to the University.

Admission of foreign nationals as students in graduate, postgraduate and doctorate from the payment of tuition fees on a contract basis the number of persons who have successfully passed the entrance test.

All questions related to the organization of the reception of foreign nationals at MSU, solved the Central Admission Committee of the University and faculty admission committees.

After a preliminary review of the required documents for a positive decision on admission to the Faculty of entrance exams, MSU sends the candidate an invitation, visa support and registration draws in the Russian Federation in the established order.

Foreign nationals arriving in Moscow State University on a contractual basis, must submit the following documents:

personal application (application form for admission to school) with a chosen specialty and forms of education;

original certificate of education, of education documents of the Russian Federation state standard required for admission to the appropriate level of higher education, with an indication of the resulting qualification (degree), courses taken and on his assessment with a certified translation into Russian (translations of documents Education in the Russian language must be approved by Russian notary or embassy (consulate) of the Russian Federation in the country issuing the certificate of education):

for those entering the first year (students) - a document of complete secondary education;

for those entering the second and subsequent courses of study - a document of complete secondary education, as well as academic certificate (or diploma) of incomplete higher education or a diploma of completed higher vocational education at various levels;

for admission to master's degree - a bachelor's degree (or specialist) or equivalent to this level of qualification certificate;

for admission to graduate studies - Master's degree (or specialist) or equivalent to this level of qualification certificate;

for admission to doctoral programs - PhD degree or equivalent qualification to this degree;

Documents of foreign states on education and academic degrees must complete the recognition and equivalence to the established order in Russia.

a standard certificate of satisfactory completion of course pre-university training at the Center for International Education (CIE), MSU, or the preparatory department of one of the universities included in the official list of educational institutions of the Russian Federation, offering pre-university training of foreign nationals, or certificate (certificate) of the state sample of the Test Centre passing grade on the Russian language (for citizens who have not passed pre-university training, with the exception of foreign nationals who have received a certificate of secondary education in the schools of Russia, CIS and Baltic countries and have a certificate of assessment on Russian and foreign citizens who studied the Russian language in Russian universities and having annexed to the assessment of Diploma in Russian);

medical certificate in the Russian Federation of the sample, indicating the absence of medical contraindications for study in Russia and the relevant department, with special note on the test result for HIV infection.

passport with a visa or a valid registration (while in the territory of the Russian Federation), migration card;

six photographs 3x4 cm

Documents for admission to MSU foreign nationals served in foster faculty committee, the composition of which is approved in the prescribed manner. Documents of foreign citizens for entry into the Faculty shall:

programs bachelors and Masters - 20 August;

graduate and doctorate - in a school year.

The list of forms and entrance exams for foreign students established in accordance with the rules of admission to Moscow State University. Foreign citizens, who studied Russian at Russian universities and having annexed to the assessment of Diploma in Russian, scored assessment on the Russian language as a result of admission test in Russian.

Specific dates of entrance examinations for foreign nationals are defined by the CPC on the proposals of the faculties.

Foreign citizens to study at Moscow State University on a contractual basis, enter into an individual contract with MSU on training, which identifies the learning environment, obligations and rights of the Moscow State University, and the obligations and rights of the student.

Admission to study at Moscow State University Rector's order made on the proposal of the Faculty (Institute) based on a decision by the CPC, after an agreement on training and making established in the contract to pay for tuition.

Procedure for admission of foreign citizens to study in the CIE governed by the Statute of the Center for International Education University - Russian courses in Russia
