Well, the good news is I am Project+ certified. Much of my thanks in this endeavor was thanks to this book. I am really glad I own a Kindle though. Mind you, I have 7+ years of Project Management methodology experience (I was never a PM, but I've been to plenty of Project Kick-Offs, been a team member and team lead in numerous projects...familiar with terms such as stakeholders, project sponsors, lessons learned...)

Halfway through Chapter 1, I had to turn on Text To Speech on my Kindle, just to keep myself awake. Mind you, in the other Kindle book I read and reviewed, I did not need that feature. The writer really didn't do a good job at keeping me engaged, but in regards to Project Management, it's really hard to get excited about. Her real world scenarios were good reads though. Plus, I was able to pass Project+. But in good conscience, I can't rate this any higher than a three. I had to turn on Text-To-Speech just so I could finish the book and then went back to the chapter summaries and Exam Essentials to bone up on what I was weak on. When I sat for the test, I was out in about 55 minutes (35 minutes to spare). I did not "slam dunk" this exam, but I did pass on my first try. Everything you need to do to pass this exam is in the summaries and exam essentials at the end of each chapter. If you need further clarifcation, then you have to go into the chapter and read it. However, the other book that I reviewed for the other certification I got in August, I didn't have to do that; I was able to read, understand and note easily on what I needed. (It was also more pages than this book too! LOL).

So in summary, download this to Kindle, turn on TTS (may want to lower the reading speed by one from the default), read the Summary and Exam Essentials at the end of each chapter, know every formula she talked about (especially lines of communications since that's an easy one), and hopefully, you too can pass this exam. Overall, I'm just happy with that. :)
