This book is for all who are trying to understand the theology of the Holy Spirit. Elizabeth Groppe is clear and I found the text readable and accessible. It is a book for scholars as opposed to those who are looking for meditational material. It makes Congar's remarkable insights available to 21st century readers.

Groppe has done a terrific job writing on a subject about spirituality and relating it to church history which too many traditionalist have failed to acknowledge. Very well researched. Very good use of citations of other important figures from history. All theologians will enjoy this book.
